Some notices about this piece of code which are hardcoded until now :

- Change your mp3 root directory at line 89 of client/qt/component/dbexplorer (/mnt/archos to your mp3 root directory)

- For alsa, change output device at line 34 of kernel/output/outputdevice.cpp

I will create a configuration dialog box for helping people to change theses values...

About configure:
Don't forget to add --disable-altivec for configure, otherwise it will not works
Select --enable-sdl or --enable-alsa or --enable-coreaudio

Both coreaudio and alsa has been extensly tested. Nowadays, i will only support alsa because i have no mac at home.. :?

I can't actually build DjMix for some reasons:

- you should "make distclean" your environment before making the package. Your tarball is 7.8 Mb... :!:
- build scripts are broken. There are some config files missing
- I have autoconf 1.8 while you build the env with 1.9.6. I can't try autogen in this way. You should try to fix the autoconf stuff...

I would like to evaluate your nice work. Could you fix these problems?

This is the hell of AutoXXXX... Can you try to remove bad links and try aclocal, automake -a then ./autogen.sh ?




I would like to evaluate your nice work. Could you fix these problems?

mmm... I compiled the old package after some issue (the new one gives me some aclocal error while configuring). I autoconf'ed the old one by myself.

A mistake in configure.in, line 27:

QT_LDFLAGS="-lqt -L$QTDIR/lib"

This is a wrong pre-condition, because the 90% of linux distribs are compiled with qt-mt (thread support). Maybe a solution is adding an enable/disable for the qt-mt link. I changed it in:

QT_LDFLAGS="-lqt-mt -L$QTDIR/lib"
[/code:1:fa0cbdabab]
And then compiled. However "make install" failed. Prefix has no default. Where's the main binary file?

Because we are having so many problems compiling your project and the download is larger 7Mb, maybe you might want to consider making available dynamic and/or static binaries for download so that we can evaluate it and give you some feedback.
