I'll do my last trial to get OpenJay working.
I had no help in posting news, and I suppose this is probably a platform problem. However I had no feedback in this and no suggestions.
OpenJay.org was born in 2003.
Actually OpenJay has 100 unique visitors per day and almost 200 registered users.
I'll try some other platform modifications to involve the community in the next few months. I suppose that a bad reaction in this can end up the OpenJay story after 5 years.
If someone has suggestions or wants to be helpful... I'm here.

Xwax has been released. It enables DJs to scratch and mix digital audio files on Linux from a normal turntables via special timecoded vinyls.
Xwax handles needle drops, pitch changes, scratching, spinbacks and rewinds for both beat-mixing and scratch-mixing. The focus is on an accurate vinyl feel that is efficient, stable and fast.

 Some short lines about Mixxx.
This year Mixxx is one of the lucky OSS projects involved by Google Summer of Code 2007. 3 students are working in interesting features:
- Library/playlist interface improvement
by Nathan Prado, mentored by Adam Davison - Improved BPM detection
by Micah Lee, mentored by Albert Santoni - LADSPA Support in Mixxx
by Pawel Bartkiewicz, mentored by Albert Santoni
Another nice skin work by Frank Willascheck has been added in the OpenJay repository. Click it!
Mixxx developers introduced image filters in skins to allow different colour schemes as explained here: http://mixxx.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/ImageFilters.
