 Some short lines about Mixxx.
This year Mixxx is one of the lucky OSS projects involved by Google Summer of Code 2007. 3 students are working in interesting features:
- Library/playlist interface improvement
by Nathan Prado, mentored by Adam Davison - Improved BPM detection
by Micah Lee, mentored by Albert Santoni - LADSPA Support in Mixxx
by Pawel Bartkiewicz, mentored by Albert Santoni
Another nice skin work by Frank Willascheck has been added in the OpenJay repository. Click it!
Mixxx developers introduced image filters in skins to allow different colour schemes as explained here: http://mixxx.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/ImageFilters.
Mixxx reached 1/4 million downloads from it's SourceForge site and 1.5.0 for PowerPC-based Mac has been packaged. You can find it here: http://mixxx.sourceforge.net/download.php.
