I'll do my last trial to get OpenJay working. I had no help in posting news, and I suppose this is probably a platform problem. However I had no feedback in this and no suggestions.
OpenJay.org was born in 2003. Actually OpenJay has 100 unique visitors per day and almost 200 registered users.
I'll try some other platform modifications to involve the community in the next few months. I suppose that a bad reaction in this can end up the OpenJay story after 5 years.
If someone has suggestions or wants to be helpful... I'm here.
Cheers, Gianluca Romanin (aka J_Zar)
Hi my Friend. A Fedora Ambassador sending u greetings!. I think that the site must work on more than news about new software. I think that could be helpful include some podcasts and blogging tools. send Messages by massive mails to jamendo community and things like that. if I can help u., u have my hand! Best regards Just to let you know - I got loads of errors trying to post this feedback - that's probably why you aren't getting any!
I like the site. It's not my first visit.
I think you are expecting loads of traffic but what you do is really very much a niche venture. There aren't that many OSS DJs out there. For what you do, 100 uniques a day is not bad.
Your forum needs to be more prominent, for that's the real value of an Open DJ site.
Good luck, and stay open no matter what. For those to whom you provide service, that service is invaluable. I'm a web developer! I'm also a part time mobile DJ. I found this site today from the Mixxx blog. I just joined and like the concept of the site. Let me know what I can do to help you. I'm fairly familiar with Joomla. |
