We have the results of the poll about soundcards: Creative
SoundBlaster Audigy 2 NX seems to be the best product for Linux
DJ environment.
The visitors were asked to post a vote referring to price and quality.
Audigy 2 is a good quality product with high perfomance, according to 27% of
users.
Our visitors consider Hercules DJ Console another cool card; there is more than
one reason! DJ Console is not only an excellent audio card,
but also a good controller (and Linux supported it as you can see from this post). Echo Indigo DJ can be found in the third position: a solution for Mobile DJs, natively Linux supported by the vendor.
Detached from the other items Terratec and M-Audio products: the
problem of this stuff may be its diffusion and its people target. I
must
admit that as Terratec owner I was expecting for the 5.1
USB something more, because its quality is cool enough to give it some
attention.
